BISHOP ODONYA CONFIRMS STUDENTS FROM ST. JOSEPH’S GIRLS’ AND BOYS’ SECONDARY SCHOOLS

More than 100 students from St. Joseph’s Girls’ and St. Joseph’s Boys’ secondary schools received the Sacrament of Confirmation during a Holy Mass presided over by Bishop Henry Juma Odonya at St. Joseph’s Parish.

In his homily and address to the students, the Bishop urged them to lead a holy life that is pleasing to God, following their reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation.

The Bishop emphasized that every Christian is called to live a holy life by strengthening their relationship with God through daily prayer, reading and reflecting on the Word of God and participating in the Holy Eucharist with faith and proper preparation.

He further reminded those who received Confirmation that they should utilize the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen their faith and serve as witnesses for Christ in their daily lives.

Additionally, he wished the students a pleasant holiday break, encouraging them to uphold good moral values, take responsibility for their actions and continue to rely on God. He assured them that the Church loves them and takes pride in their progress, urging them to remain steadfast in their faith even when outside the school environment.
