On Saturday 12th, Bishop Henry Juma Odonya presided over the Mass for the reception of over 400 women into the Catholic Women Association (CWA) from the West Pokot Pastoral Area. The women were encouraged to be good examples within their families, to remain steadfast in faith, to trust in God even when facing challenges and to emulate the example of their patron saint, Saint Monica as well as the Virgin Mary.
Additionally, during the event, the Bishop presided over the launch of a book titled “MTUMISHI WA NENO” authored by Fr. Dr. Anthony Situma. This book provides guidance for those who proclaim the word and community leaders.
